Gov. Wolf makes Tastykake bet with Minnesota Governor over NFC Championship game

Pennsylvania Governor Tom Wolf and Minnesota Governor Mark Dayton have made a friendly wager on this weekends NFC Championship matchup between the Vikings and Eagles.

Should the Eagles win, Governor Dayton has agreed to send Governor Wolf a five-pound Pearson's Salted Nut Roll, should the Eagles win on Sunday.

For those who may not know what that is, a Salted Nut Roll has a nougat center surrounded by a layer of caramel and covered with salted peanuts.

Governor Wolf has offered to send five pounds of Tastykake Butterscotch Krimpets to Governor Dayton, should the Vikings win.

"Our Philadelphia Eagles have overcome adversity and displayed true Pennsylvania grit to put themselves one game away from the Super Bowl," Governor Wolf said Friday, "While I wanted an all-Pennsylvania Super Bowl, I am proud of the Eagles and look forward to cheering them on this weekend. Go Birds!"

Governor Wolf also today announced Friday that the State Capitol Building in Harrisburg will be lit green starting tonight and through the game Sunday in a show of support for the Eagles.
