Heavy rain brings flash flooding across the Delaware Valley

Heavy rain fell Saturday afternoon, creating flood conditions throughout much of the Delaware Valley.

From Chester County through to areas in Atlantic County, flash flood warnings sprouted up as thunderstorms moved across the region.

Somers Point, New Jersey saw flash flooding, as this video from @Dan_4Shaw posted on Twitter shows.

Flooding was a problem on Haverford Avenue in Overbrook, as this video posted on Twitter by "Dave" shows.

Montgomery County also received a lot of rain, as shown in this video posted on Twitter, by @Benaplus1.

And, Center City near the Art Museum was inundated with rain. Visitors scrambled about in ponchos and hanging onto umbrellas. Folks did still have to have their photo taken with the Rocky statue, though, despite the heavy rain.

Despite all of the flooding rain, in the end, a rainbow is a beautiful sight to see.
