House fire reaches 2 alarms, caused neighbors to evacuate

Fire officials are investigating how a massive fire at a Frankford home started.

It began just after 1:30am on the 4800 block of Mulberry Street, reached a second alarm and was deemed under control in just less than an hour.

Philadelphia firefighters say it started in a garage and then quickly spread to the rest of the home.

Even people in nearby houses had to be evacuated as a precaution, but they've been allowed back.

There are no reports of any injuries.
