Investigators ramp up search for missing military veteran

NEW JERSEY (WTXF) - Investigators are ramping up their search for a missing military veteran from South Jersey.

The New Jersey State Police marine unit was out on the Silver Lake waterway in Clementon Tuesday afternoon looking for 29-year-old retired Marine Lance James.

Family members say he was last seen being escorted out of the Hide-A-Way Tavern after an alternation on December 2nd. Family and friends watched as police conducted their search near the bar.

Family members say they are putting together a $5,000 reward for information in the case. Lance James served back-to-back tours in Iraq and Afghanistan.
