PHILADELPHIA (WTXF) - The School District of Philadelphia announced that John B. Kelly Elementary School in the city's Germantown section will be closed again on Tuesday for final clean-up after mold was discovered last week.
The school is set to reopen on Wednesday, October 18. On Tuesday, Kelly staff should report to the Hill Freedman World Academy located at 1100 Mt. Pleasant St., 19150.
The school has been closed since last Thursday after heating, ventilation and air-conditioning (HVAC) issues, revealed traces of mold in several classrooms. An environmental remediation contractor began working last week to remove the problem.
