Jon Voight Buys Thanksgiving Turkeys for Non-Profit Worker He Met on Walmart Checkout Line

(INSIDE EDITION) He's the Deliverance star who really delivers in the holiday season.

A Thanksgiving blessing rolled in for a non-profit organization when one of their employees ran into Oscar-winning actor Jon Voight in a Kentucky store.

Sydney Gholston works for "Home of the Innocents," which provides short and long-term residential care for children who have been abused, abandoned or neglected.

As she was in the checkout line to purchase six turkeys for the upcoming holiday, she realized the man in line behind her looked familiar.

"I was helping the cashier scan the turkeys," Gholston told InsideEdition.com. "The man started talking to me and he said, 'you must have a big family.' I started telling him about our facility and he seemed really interested."

It was then that she said she realized he looked just like Jon Voight.

"I looked up again and I saw his face really good. I said you know you look just like Angelina Jolie's dad and he said, 'why would I look like that?'"

Voight then revealed himself, took out his credit card and paid for the six turkeys.

The Midnight Cowboy star's producer even snapped a picture of the pair at the register.

"I was excited and blessed and at the right place at the right time," Gholston said.
