Kittens left out in cold rehabilitated, ready for adoption

An animal rescue that saved a litter of kittens from the freezing temperatures of this year's polar vortex has announced that the young felines are healthy and ready to find their forever home.

Fishtails Animal Rescue in Kensington found four kittens in a garage located on the campus of Girard College two weeks ago.

The three day old kittens had been abandoned by their mother and still had their umbilical cords attached.

Unfortunately, two of the kittens did not survive the conditions.

Now, after two weeks of rehabilitation and nourishment in foster care the gray tabby cats, Edy and Breyer, are ready for adoption.

Anyone looking for a fluffy little addition to their family can visit Fishtails Animal Rescue as early as Sunday.
