1 killed, 1 injured in West Oak Lane shooting

- A 24-year-old man has died after a shooting in the city's West Oak Lane section late Friday night, according to Philadelphia Police.

Police say gunfire erupted on the 1600 block of Mohican street around 10:30 p.m. "

Officers responded to the scene to find the 24-year-old victim un the driver's seat of a 2004 Chevy Impala. He was taken to Einstein Hospital where he was pronounced dead a short time later.

A second victim, a 23-year-old man, was located at Einstein Hospital where he was dropped off by a private car, after being shot multiple times in the arms and legs. He has been listed in critical condition.

So far, no arrests have been made as homicide detectives continue to investigate.
