11-year old struck following 2-car collision in North Philly

PHILADELPHIA, PA (WTXF) - Police say an 11-year old boy suffered injuries following a car accident in North Philadelphia.

The incident happened Saturday afternoon on the 1900 block of W. Lehigh Ave.

Police say a 28-year old man driving a 2011 Volkswagen Jetta stuck a woman driving inside a white Nissan, which then stuck the child and a 52-year old woman.

The woman was taken to Temple University via medics where she is currently listed in critical condition.

Officers say an 11-year old boy was taken to St. Christopher’s Hospital for his injuries and is now placed in stable condition.
