HANOVER, Pa. (AP) -- An eastern Pennsylvania prosecutor says weather conditions likely played a role in a crash that claimed the life of a 3-year-old girl.
Officials in Lehigh County said the crash involving a car and a pickup truck was reported shortly after 4:30 p.m. Saturday in Hanover Township.
District Attorney Jim Martin said 3-year-old Nevaeha Lydia Marie Rivera of Weatherly was strapped into a car seat that was ejected from one of the vehicles. She was pronounced dead at the scene. Her name wasn't immediately released. An autopsy was planned Monday.
