18-Year-Old Shot and Killed in South Philadelphia Sunday Afternoon

SOUTH PHILADELPHIA (WTXF) - Philadelphia Police are investigating a fatal shooting in South Philadelphia.

The incident occurred on the 2200 block of Mifflin Street shortly before 3:00 p.m.

Investigators say an 18-year old man was shot one time in the back.

He was transported to Presbyterian Hospital, but was pronounced dead a short time later.

The investigation is ongoing and no arrests have been recovered. No weapon has been recovered.
