PHILADELPHIA (WTXF) - Good news: Philadelphians have one more way to get to the polls on Tuesday.
Zipcar announced Friday morning that more than 300 cars in Philly will be free on election night from 6:00 – 10:00 p.m.
The initiative was launched to ensure that last minute voters have an easy and cost-effective way to get to the polls.
It’s all part of Zipcar’s national #DRIVEtheVOTE campaign. The company is making thousands of cars free across the country to encourage voting.
According to a press release, members can reserve free Zipcars on the mobile app or online starting Friday and prospective members can join instantly by downloading the app.
