Police identify 3 found dead inside ransacked Tioga house; $60K reward offered

PHILADELPHIA (WTXF) -Police say three people found beaten or stabbed to death inside a Tioga home may have known their killer.

A police spokesman identified the three people found Saturday as 92-year-old Warren Harrison and his girlfriend, 60-year-old Khadijah Abdullah, as well as her brother, 57-year-old Earl Cottle.

The bodies were found around 7:30 p.m. Saturday night at a house on the 1900 block of West Venango Street after officers responded to a burglary in process.

Harrison's daughter called police when she opened the door and saw the living room had been ransacked.

Police say Harrison and Cottle were found in the basement wrapped in blankets, with head wounds. Abdullah had been stabbed to death and wrapped in blankets on the second floor.

Police say they believe the killings were committed by someone who was let into the home.

The bodies were found about five hours after police discovered a body wrapped in a carpet at a different home in Wissinoming. Joseph Wilson, 34, has since been charged in that murder.

"It's a terrible tragedy for families involved we are making all our efforts to bringing case in and finding those responsible," Philadelphia Police Captain John Ryan said.

A $60,000 reward is being offered for information leading to an arrest and conviction in the Tioga case. This is an ongoing investigation.
