4th person dead from Norristown fire

NORRISTOWN, PA (WTXF) Fire officials tell the Associated Press the 4th victim of an apartment fire in Norristown is an 11-year old girl.

A memorial sits outside building on Dekalb Street. It drew more people grieving after tragic news that the 11-year-old girl died from injuries she suffered during the fire. Neighbors say her father and young sibling died Saturday, the day it happened.  The Montgomery County District Attorney said another adult also died.
Manuel Fuentes who just arrived from Florida  says his 74-year-old father Elpidio Fuentes who they called "Pete" also  died in the fire and was friends of the other victims.
"It was my dad and a friend who had his two girls there and his friend Donald. It was a group there,” said Manuel Fuentes. He stopped by the memorial with family friend named Wanda Soto.
"To the rest of the family that passed away we know it's a hard tragedy. No one expected what's going on. So we just ask for everybody to have prayers," said Soto.
People still in shock by what happened stopped by to pray outside the boarded up building with police caution tape still surrounding it.
"It's a tragedy the way it happened you know," said Fuentes.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation but officials say don’t believe it’s suspicious.
