Police: Man shot 7 times in North Philadelphia

Police say a 36-year-old male was shot 7 times in North Philly.

Police responded to the shooting on the 2200 block of North 16th Street around 5:30 Thursday evening. According to police, they found a 36-year-old male shot 7 times. Police say he was shot 5 times in the leg and twice in the buttocks.

Police transported the victim to Temple. He is listed in critical but stable condition.

Police say they found 2 shell casings at the scene. So far, police have no motive and no arrests have been made.

The shooting is under investigation.
