4 suspects charged in stabbing death of Paulsboro man

Four suspects have been charged in connection with the stabbing death of a Paulsboro man Sunday afternoon.

Around 1 p.m. Sunday, officers responded to West New Street, where they found 19-year-old Amir Tarpley suffering from stab wounds.

The victim was transported to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

Further investigation lead police to four men: eighteen-year-old twins Aaron and Archie Hickox, 42-year-old Arteste Ruffin, and 18-year-old Kishon Pierce.

Archie Hickox, Ruffin and Pierce have been charged with committing aggravated assault by aiding and conspiring with Aaron Hickox to assault Tarpley.

Detention hearings are pending for the four suspects.
