5-year-old from North Phila. missing, 52-year-old, and mother found unharmed

NORTH PHILADELPHIA (WTXF) - The search to find two missing persons, 5-year-old Tamira Horton and 52-year-old "Kendra" has ended as all parties have been found unharmed.

Police are continuing to investigate the incident.

Around 1:48 a.m. Sunday, police arrived at the 2800 block of N. 22 nd Street after a report for missing persons was called in.

Officers spoke to the 55-year-old babysitter of Tamira Horton, who she last saw at the residence on Saturday at approximately 2:30 p.m. with her friend "Kendra."

The babysitter left the residence to pick up school supplies and when she returned at 4:00 p.m. she found that Tamira Horton and "Kendra" were no longer there.

Then, she tried to find "Kendra" on the streets and also attempted to call Horton's mother, 27-year-old Lakisha Horton before calling the police.

Currently, she is not able to contact or find "Kendra," Tamira Horton, or Lakisha Horton.

Tamira Horton is 4'0", 45-52 pounds, with a medium complexion. She answers to the nicknames "Momma" or "Amera." She was last seen wearing a pink shirt, light blue jeans with a flower on the pant leg, and brown sandals. She also has black hair which was braided and pulled up to a ball on the top of her head with white wrap.

"Kendra" is described as a 52-year-old black female with a medium complexion. She is 5'1", 129 pounds, with a gold front tooth, gray and black hair with a part to the front, and possible lives in the Olney area. She was wearing a black and white #29 jersey with her stomach showing and also has a speech problem.

Anyone with information on the location of Tamira Horton, "Kendra," and Lakisha Horton are asked to contact police.
