Police Investigate Delivery Robbers in Delaware

- Police say a group of men in New Castle County, Del., have committed a series of robberies of food delivery drivers, with five incidents having taken place in the Newark/Bear area.

The robberies, according to New Castle County detectives, have followed a pattern: The suspects order food for delivery to a specific location, the driver arrives at the location, the driver is approached by suspects, and the suspects pull a handgun and demand items from the driver.

The suspects are a group of 3-6 black males.

Delivery advisers in the area are advised to stay alert, keep note of their location and never leave their car running unattended.

Those with information are asked to call (302) 395-8110.
