92-year old Frankford man reported missing

PHILADELPHIA, PA (WTXF) - Philadelphia Police are searching for an elderly man reported missing in the city's Frankford section.

On Thursday, June 17, 2016, at approximately 3:30 PM, 92 year old Wasyl Saroka was last seen driving past his residence on the 4500 block of Aubrey Avenue; he was operating a silver 2001 Saturn SL sedan with PA Tag GMH-1980.

Saroka wife stated that at approximately 1:45 PM, Wasyl left their residence to go to the Rite Aid located at Frankford and Linden Avenues; however, he never returned home, police say.

Wasyl is 5'5", 160lbs, with a thin build, blue eyes, and short gray hair; he was last seen wearing dark pants, a white shirt with pink stripes, and carrying a cane with his name on it. He is suffering from the early signs of dementia; he does not have a cell phone.
