Crews battle heavy blaze at home in Point Breeze

POINT BREEZE (WTXF) - Fire crews battled a heavy blaze at a home in Point Breeze in the early hours of Monday morning.

The fire broke out on the 2300 block of Moore Street at 12:45 a.m.

Crews reported that a two story brick home was on fire with heavy flames on the second floor.

There were no people inside the home when police arrived.

Medics treated a firefighter on scene for possible smoke inhalation, but the fire board said that it was very minor.
