Double shooting in North Philly leaves 2 injured, 1 critical

Police are investigating following a double shooting in North Philadelphia

Investigators say someone shot two men around 1:45 a.m. on the 4800 block of North Broad Street.

A blood trail lead officers approximately one block away from the scene of the shooting to the 1400 block of Rockland Street. Once there, officers found an unconscious 36-year-old man suffering from gunshot wounds to his legs.

The victim was transported to Einstein Medical Center where he is listed in stable but critical condition.

A second victim, also 36, was located on the 1300 block of Hunting Park Avenue when police observed a speeding car on its way to the hospital.

The victim was placed into a patrol vehicle and transported to Einstein Medical Center, where he was treated for multiple gunshot wounds to the legs. He is listed in stable condition.

This is an ongoing investigation. No arrests have been made at this time.
