Driver killed, passenger wounded in Strawberry Mansion shooting

PHILADELPHIA (AP/WTXF) - Philadelphia police are investigating a shooting that killed a driver and wounded his passenger.

Police say the shooting happened Thursday night in the city's Strawberry Mansion section on the 1800 block of 33rd Street around 8:30 p.m.

The 33-year-old driver was shot in the abdomen and died at a hospital. His 32-year-old passenger was hospitalized with a graze wound to the head.

Police say the car continued to roll after the shooting and wound up in a grassy ditch.

No arrests have been made at this time.
