Evesham Twp. Officer Brushes Off Car For Elderly Motorist

An Evesham Township Police Officer went above the call of duty to help a local elderly woman in need.

According to the Evesham Township Police Department, Officer Haliema Leach observed the woman driving down Route 70 with a mound of snow on the roof of her car.

While driving with this amount of snow on the roof is usually a worthy of a ticket, Officer Leach decided to cut the woman a break, and then some.

Instead, Leach approached the car with a window brush in hand, and cleared off the top of the woman's car, declining to write her a ticker.

A resident pointed out Officer Leach's act of kindness to the department, who then shared video and story on their Facebook page.

The resident said of Leach, "We need 25 more of you."
