Ex-priest accused of molesting 2 Pennsylvania altar boys

A former Roman Catholic priest in Pennsylvania has been charged with molesting two altar boys about 20 years ago.

Dauphin County investigators on Thursday charged 75-year-old John G. Allen of York with four counts of indecent assault and two counts of corruption of minors.

Alleged attacks occurred at St. Margaret Mary Alacoque Church in Harrisburg.

Allen doesn't have a listed phone number and court records don't show a defense attorney.

The criminal investigation began in October. The Harrisburg Diocese issued a statement condemning Allen's alleged actions and saying it cooperated with the investigation.

Allen was removed from the priesthood in 2006 and was among the priests listed in a grand jury report issued in August.
