Firefighters battle house fire in Tioga, 2 hurt

SKYFOX was over the scene of a house fire in Philadelphia's Tioga neighborhood early Monday morning.

The fire broke out around 8:30 a.m. on the 3500 block of North 23 rd Street.

Flames could be seen coming from the roof of the home as firefighters battled to get the fire under control.

Officials tell FOX 29 two people were transported to the hospital. There is no word on their conditions.

According to Fire Commissioner Adam Thiel, there was a partial collapse of the building which caused firefighters to get out and stop fighting the fire (though it is unclear for how long).
