Funeral Services Announced For NJ State Trooper, Support Pours in From Community

NEW JERSEY (WTXF)- Services have been announced for a New Jersey State Trooper, killed in the line of duty this week.

Trooper Eli McCarson was responding to a domestic dispute on Wednesday, when his cruiser crashed into a utility pole.

A viewing will be held Wednesday morning, beginning at 8:30 a.m. at Rowan University.

A funeral service will follow at noon.

In the meantime, New Jersey State Troopers say they have received and outpouring of support from communities across the state.
