PHILADELPHIA (WTXF) - Philadelphia Police are investigating an incident that left a 16-year-old girl injured by a stray bullet in the city's Hunting Park neighborhood.
The incident occurred on the 4000 block of North 7th Street shortly before midnight.
Police say the victim and her sister were sitting on their front porch, when they heard gunfire. The two girls ran inside a home for cover, when the victim realized she had been shot.
Police are hoping surveillance cameras from nearby business can help them identify the gunman.

The teen was taken to Temple University hospital suffering from a gunshot wound to her leg. She was listed in stable condition.
