Glassboro Woman Charged With DWI, Child Endangerment After Injuring Officer In Crash

- Authorities in Franklin Township, New Jersey have charged a female driver after she allegedly struck a police patrol vehicle while under the influence Friday night, seriously injuring an officer.

The incident occurred at the intersection of Tuckahoe Road and Harding Highway in Franklin Township around 8:12 p.m.

Police say Angela Feaster, of Glassboro, failed to stop at a stop sign on Harding Highway, and struck a police patrol vehicle that was being operated by Officer Clifford Trovillo.

Feaster's three children were in the car at the time of the crash. One of them was transported to Cooper University Hospital for possible internal injuries. Feaster was taken to John F. Kennedy Hospital to be treated for a broken ankle.

Trovillo, a 14-year veteran, suffered two broken wrists, a broken ankle and a concussion as a result of the crash, and was flown by helicopter to Cooper University Hospital where he was listed in good condition.

Officers determined that Feaster was under the influence of alcohol, and charged her with three counts of child endangerment, assault by automobile, and DWI.
