Groom Sings a Hilarious Mash-Up of Love Songs for his Wedding Vows

(WTXF)--Donned in black sunglasses and a black tuxedo, groom Jared Basham serenaded his bride with a unique set of wedding vows--a mash-up of love songs.

"I know that I struggle sometimes to show my emotions," Jared told bride, Kyndra, when standing at the altar, "And because of that I vow to try and express how I feel to you in the most creative and ludicrous ways."

Both Jared and Kyndra are in the military and have a history of musical expression. Jared told BuzzFeed News, "While [Kyndra] was deployed [in the Air Force] I would serenade her with my terrible singing voice over Skype and it would just make her whole day…the choice was clear."

The medley of songs began with the iconic "You're the One that I Want" from Grease, included Ed Sheeran's "Thinking Out Loud," and ended with a powerhouse--Whitney Houston's "I Will Always Love You."

A friend of Jared's told BuzzFeed News that he wasn't at all surprised about the groom's choice for his wedding vows.

"He has always been a really outgoing guy, if he had just performed his vows normally it wouldn't have been fitting, it's just not him," he wrote on Reddit.
