Gunman opens fire while driving down South Philly street

Philadelphia Police are looking for a suspect they say opened fire on another man in South Philadelphia earlier this month.

Back on June 20, around 6 p.m. police say a man opened fire from his car window on the 700 block of Tasker Street.

Additional video obtained by FOX 29 shows the 23-year-old victim duck as he was struck. The barrage of gunfire just missed his friend walking alongside. Police aren't sure why they were targeted, but clearly the shooter in the Cadillac stalked his target.

"The white Cadillac circled the block twice, slowed down in the area where the victim is and the third time around actually discharges the firearm," Philadelphia Police Captain Sekou Kinebrew said.

Anyone with information on the incident is asked to contact police.
