High School Community Steps Up to Save a Student's Christmas

The community at William Penn High School in Delaware this week stepped up in a big way for Dexter, a senior at the school who was having a tough Christmas.

Dexter, an honor roll student who lives on his own and supports himself with multiple after-school jobs, believed that he had nothing to look forward to this Christmas. But teachers, administrators and students at his school begged to differ- giving Dexter presents, a holiday celebration and a chance to attend his first-ever sporting event, a 76ers game.
