Hoverboard Stolen From Teen in West Philadelphia

- Philadelphia Police are seeking to apprehend two young men who they say robbed two teenagers of several items at gunpoint, including a Hoverboard.

According to police, the incident took place December 18 at 57th Street and Haverford Avenue in the Haddington area. The two 14-year-old males were outside a recreation center when two unknown males approached them, pointed handguns, and demanded property. The items taken from the two boys included the red Hoverboard, as well as an iPhone 6 and a book bag filled with clothing.

 

The suspects are described as a pair of black males, 17-18 years of age. One is 5’9 to 5’10” with a stocky build, the other 5’6” with a thin build.
