Law enforcement, loved ones remember Former Commissioner Willie Williams

Loved ones and the law enforcement community are preparing to say their final goodbyes to former Philadelphia police commissioner Willie L. Williams.

Officers filed in formation outside a viewing Friday.

Another viewing was scheduled for Saturday morning at Zion Baptist church on North Broad Street, and then Williams will be laid to rest this afternoon.

Williams was named Philadelphia's first African-American police commissioner in 1988.

He was 72 years old.
