Lizard Found Inside NJ Student's Salad

PRINCETON, NJ (WTXF) - A science class at a New Jersey elementary school has a new pet. They found it inside a student's salad.

Mark Eastbern says a kindergartner found a three-inch lizard inside his salad. It was cold and not moving.

After all it had been in a refrigerator for a couple of days.

Once the lizard warmed up, they figure out it was very much alive and is now living in Mr. Eastburns science classroom at Riverside Elementary in Princeton.

The class has named the lizard Green Fruit Loop.

They think it came from Florida, and probably tucked itself in some leaves of the greens making it all the way to a Princeton grocery store.
