Location where winning Powerball ticket was sold, revealed

New Jersey Lottery officials have confirmed that the sole winning ticket of Saturday's Powerball drawing was purchased in Trenton.

According to a press release, the ticket was purchased at the 7-Eleven located at 750 Chambers Street, Trenton, Mercer County.

The ticket was reportedly purchased as a cash ticket and its value is $284 million. It matched the five white balls and the Powerball for the drawing.

"Congratulations to 7-Eleven for selling this winning ticket and to the fortunate ticketholder who purchased the ticket," Carole Hedinger, New Jersey Lottery executive director, said. "We look forward to meeting the winner of this record-setting jackpot."

Saturday's winning numbers were 05, 25, 26, 44, 66. The Powerball number was 09.

The Powerball jackpot now resets to $40,000,000 for the next drawing to be held on Wednesday, May 11 at 11:00 p.m.
