Man in Critical Condition after Germantown Shooting, 1 in Custody

PHILADELPHIA (WTXF) - Philadelphia Police are investigating a shooting that left a man in critical condition in the city's Germantown neighborhood.

The shooting occurred around 12:05 p.m. Thursday on the 5300 block of Germantown Avenue near Penn Street.

Police say a 20-year-old man was shot one time in the head.

He was transported to Einstein Medical Center by officers, where he was place in critical conditions.

Police say one person is in custody, but the investigation is ongoing.
