Man, 21, Shot Twice While Exiting Car in Southwest Philadelphia

- Police in Southwest Philadelphia are investigating a shooting that sent one man to the hospital early Saturday morning.

Shots rang out on the 2500 block of Wanamaker Street around 12:40 a.m.

Officers arrived on scene to find a 21-year-old man was found in a basement suffering from two gunshot wound.

Police say he was getting out of his parked car when he was shot.

Officers transported the victim to Presbyterian Hospital, where he was taken into surgery and ;osted in Stable condition.
