Police: Man stabbed outside bakery in Olney

PHILADELPHIA (WTXF) - Philadelphia Police are investigating a stabbing in the city's Olney section. The stabbing stunned the neighborhood as people were preparing for the Easter holiday weekend.

Video captured by a camera up the block and obtained by FOX 29 shows the knife wielding suspect as he allegedly attacked the 59-year-old victim outside the popular Colombian bakery in the 4900 block of 5 th Street just off the boulevard.

Police say it appears the victim and the suspect may know each other. The victim was raced to the hospital and into surgery in critical condition suffering from a single stab wound to the stomach. The suspect has not yet been positively identified.

The suspect has been described as a Columbian male in his 40's with a medium build, standing 5'1" to 5'5". The knife was described as a folding knife with a black handle.
