Man charged with murder of 26-year-old in Trenton

Police have arrested the man they say is responsible for the shooting death of 26-year-old Jibri Chisolm in Trenton, New Jersey.

Stephan Green, 30, of Trenton, has been charged with first-degree murder, first-degree attempted murder and related offenses.

Just before midnight on Sept. 14, police responded to the 600 block of Martin Luther King Boulevard, where Chisolm and another 26-year-old man were found suffering from gunshot wounds.

Both victims were transported to Capital Health Regional Medical Center, where Chisolm was pronounced dead a short time later and the unnamed second victim was treated for non-life threatening injuries.

Green was taken into custody Sunday evening at a hotel in South Brunswick. He is currently being held at the Mercer County Correction Center pending a detention hearing.
