Man critical after being shot while driving in West Philadelphia

WEST PHILADELPHIA (FOX 29) - Police are investigating after a man was critically injured in an overnight shooting in West Philadelphia.

Around 4:30 a.m. Sunday, officers responded to the 5400 block of Media Street, where a 25-year-old man had been shot in the head and chest.

Police say the victim was shot while inside his car, which he then crashed into the side of a house.

The victim was transported to Penn Presbyterian Medical Center, where he is listed in critical condition.

No arrests have been made at this time. This is an ongoing investigation.
