Man Critically Injuring in Hit and Run in Hunting Park

HUNTING PARK (WTXF) - Philadelphia Police are investigating a hit and run that left a man severely injured in Hunting Park.

The incident occurred around 3:00 a.m. Friday morning at West Hunting Park Avenue and North 5 th Street.

According to police, a 45-year-old man was found injured, and it was determined he was struck by a vehicle.

The victim was transported to the hospital in extremely critical condition with several broken bones, including a fractured pelvis. Officials say the man has yet to regain consciousness.

Investigators did find evidence of the vehicle at the scene, but the investigation is ongoing.
