Man dies after being tased by officers in North Philadelphia
NORTH PHILADELPHIA (WTXF) - Philadelphia Police are investigating the death of a man in North Philadelphia Thursday morning after he was tased by officers.
The incident occurred before 6:00 a.m. on the 900 block of Poplar Street.
Officers were responding to an unknown incident when they encountered the man and an officer tased him.
The man was transported to Hahnemann Hospital where he later died.
The incident is under investigation.
