Man proposes to woman and daughter in Maple Shade

MAPLE SHADE, NJ (WTXF) - A local couple is sharing the story of how they got engaged, and it's just the sweetest thing.

Ashley Cool reached out to FOX 29 via Facebook on Tuesday to share the details of her surprise Halloween proposal.

Cool says that her entire family was gathered along with her boyfriend and 8-year-old daughter.

Her mom and aunts rounded them all up for a picture in their costumes, but then Cool says "the unexpected happened."

Cool's mom came out holding a speaker playing the song "Marry Me" by Bruno Mars, but Cool says that it still didn't hit her until her boyfriend, Travis Habina, got down on one knee.

But Habina didn't just propose to Cool, he also proposed to her daughter "with her own adorable ring."

"It was absolutely the greatest day ever!" Cool told FOX 29.

She added, "My daughter grew up without a father til my fiance Travis came into our lives."
