Man rescued from partial building collapse in Cobbs Creek

Philadelphia Police responded to a partial home collapse that left one person trapped in Cobbs Creek.

The collapse occurred at a home on the 200 block of South 60 th Street near Chancellor Street.

Authorities were called to the scene around 4:15 a.m. Wednesday morning, and were able to free the trapped man from the building. He was transported to the hospital, and he is expected to be okay.

Authorities are investigating the cause of the collapse and L&I has been notified.
