Man shot in Southwest Philadelphia speakeasy

A 35-year-old man is in critical condition at a local hospital after being shot in the chest early Tuesday morning.

The incident occurred on the 6400 block of Glenmore Avenue in the Elmwood Section of Southwest Philadelphia.

Police were called to the home, which is also being used as an speakeasy, shortly before 3 a.m.

The victim was shot in the chest and taken to Presbyterian Hospital in critical condition.
