Man struck and killed by Norristown High Speed Line train in Bryn Mawr

A man was struck and killed by a Norristown High Speed Line train Saturday evening.

According to a press release, the man was struck near the Bryn Mawr train station at about 6:30 p.m. on Saturday.

The train was heading southbound.

Police and rescue responded to the scene and all 39 passengers aboard were removed and placed on the following train.

Operators are single tracking between Radnor and Overbrook stations.

Delays in both directions.
