Man, woman critical after shooting in North Philadelphia home

Police say a man and a woman were shot inside their North Philly home overnight.

The incident took place around 2 a.m. on the 400 block of West Wyoming Avenue.

Investigators say the two victims, who are roommates, were watching television and drinking with a man they knew at the time of the incident. At some point, the man allegedly stood up and fired a black revolver at the male roommate, striking him in the thigh.

The man then allegedly shot the woman once in the stomach. The suspect allegedly fired once more, striking the bedroom wall, before fleeing the property.

Both victims were transported to Einstein Medical Center and are listed in critical but stable condition.

So far, no arrests have been made.
