Manhunt continues for person of interest in 2 murders after chase

A manhunt for a person of interest in two murders in Delaware is continuing Thursday morning after a police chase led to a crash at a busy intersection and injured three officers and a bus passenger.

20-year-old Dejuan Robinson fled the crash scene at Broad and Oregon and has been described as a person of interest in multiple homicides in Delaware. Police believe Robinson is armed and dangerous.

Authorities say Robinson fled a traffic stop in Wilmington, which led to a police chase that made its way to I-95. That chase resulted in two separate crashes, including one that caused a Wilmington Police vehicle to roll over on the interstate, near the Philadelphia airport.

The chase then moved to city streets and a SEPTA spokesperson says a bus full of passengers was also hit during the chase, injuring one passenger.

Pennsylvania State Police spokesman Ryan Tarkowski says one trooper was hurt in the crash. Wilmington Police say two officers were treated at a hospital.

"He then gets out of the vehicle and flees on foot and the last check that we have is right here on Watts Street--northbound on Watts Street---and that's where we're trying to pick up the trail," Philadelphia Police Department Captain Sekou Kinebrew said.

Several schools were on lockdown during the search.

Authorities tell FOX 29's Steve Keeley Robinson is also wanted for felony parole violations.
