Missing wedding band reunited with owner in Princeton

Princeton Police have located the owner of a wedding band found on the street thanks to information provided by fellow citizens.

According to the police department's Facebook page, the wedding band was recently found on Nassau Street near Pine Street in Princeton and turned into the police department.

The ring had the inscription, "Debbie and Jeremy June 1999."

Princeton Police updated the post on Tuesday informing the public that the owner had been found.

They wrote, "We were contacted by our Mayor, Liz Lempert, who knew a Debbie and Jeremy that lived in town and it turned out that Jeremy was the owner. He was contacted and will pick the ring up. Thank you Mayor Lempert!"
