Montco Stabbing Suspect Identified Himself as Twin Brother

Landsale Police arrested a suspect in a stabbing- and the suspect identified himself to police as his own twin brother.

According to Lansdale Police, the 33-year-old Lance Greenwood stabbed the 16-year-old victim at his home, during an instance of "play-fighting." The victim was taken to Abington Hospital Trauma Center in Abington and is in serious condition.

However, when police interviewed Greenwood, he first gave the name- and drivers' license- of his identical twin brother Leonard Greenwood. Leonard's name and picture was even put out to the media before the department issued a correction. Leonard later escorted his brother to the police station, where Lance admitted to having provided a false ID.

Lance Greenwood faces charges of aggravated assault, simple assault, PIC, REAP and providing false identification to law enforcement.
